Our Services

  • Wills

You may want to start planning how you’ll pass wealth on to your family. We can advise you on the importance of making your Will or revising an existing Will, to ensure your wishes are carried out after your death. Taking advice and putting the right structures in place now can help ensure that your intended heirs receive more of your estate and pay less Inheritance Tax.

  • Trusts

Considering the use of will trusts and lifetime trusts can help to avoid hefty inheritance tax bills and unnecessary risks to your estate. Setting up the correct trust can help to make sure that the majority of your money, shares and property are passed on in tact, in the most efficient way to the people you love.

  • Lasting Powers of Attorney

A Will isn’t the only piece of forward planning you should consider. A Lasting Power of Attorney enables you to choose the person or people you would like to be in charge of making decisions which affect your finances or health and welfare if you were no longer able to do so. We can explain how this could benefit you.

  • Property Protection Trust

A property protection Will Trust can be a vital tool when it comes to the management of your estate and is a way of ensuring that, when the time is right, your assets are able to go to your loved ones. It is designed to protect your assets against any potential future threats, such as, your surviving spouse remarrying, claims from creditors, and although not a reason to set such a trust up it may hep shelter your share of the property from future care cost claims.

  • Document Storage

Store your Will, Trust Deeds and Lasting Powers of Attorney documents in our fire and flood proof storage units. The cost of storage is from £29 per annum. We will also register your will free of charge, so that your will can always be located. We issue Certificates of Safe Storage and Executor Retrieval Cards for the easy and secure return of documents in future.

  • Review Service and Document Storage

Life and families are constantly changing, and that is why we believe your will should do the same. Our Review Service aims to keep your will and other documents up to date, all the time. Reviewing your will regularly will make sure your assets are protected and your wishes are respected, whatever may happen in the future.

  • Inheritance Tax Mitigation

Inheritance Tax is a tax on your estate including your property, your money and your possessions.

The current standard rate of inheritance tax is 40% and it is charged on the part of the estate above the current threshold of £325,000 (otherwise known as the ‘individual nil-rate band').

With careful planning, we can help you take control over your arrangements so that you can pass on as much of your estate as possible to who you want to receive it. Together, we can minimise the amount your loved ones will have to pay.

  • Whole of Market Equity Release Advice

Equity release is where you can release tax free cash from your property without having to move or sell your house. Depending on the type of plan to suit your needs, you can access your funds as an initial lump sum or set up a draw down facility, which means you are able to access your funds as and when required.

We wll conduct appointments over at least two separate meetings and will always give you time to consider the advice given.

Following oIr discusions, if we feel equity release is not suitable for you, we will inform you of this, and will suggest alternative options to help you.

  • Whole of Market Financial Advice

Whether you are looking to invest for a specific goal, review your retirement plan, or reduce any inheritance tax liability, we offer unrestricted whole of market advice to suit your individual circumstances.

Confused about inheritance tax? – During an initial no obligation discovery meeting, you will have a clear understanding of any inheritance tax liability and your options to mitigate this avoidable ‘death’ tax.

Do you have multiple pension pots? – we will always recommend the most appropriate solution for you, whether that is to consolidate your existing pension pots, switch them elsewhere, or to leave them exactly as they are.

You are in very safe hands
